Here is the Bolex test footage that we shot, you can see the different techniques we tried like slow motion, different filters on the lens, different lighting ratios, using different gels and even stop motion animation. I feel definitely more proficient with the Bolex now and feel confident to shoot with it for the experimental film. All of the tiny complexities to its use like making sure everything is in the right setting before shooting is something I have more of a grasp on now, I can’t wait to shoot with it properly and use some of the techniques we have experimented with here.
